Monopoly Dubai Edition - Print & Play!
After fiddling with the 'light' beta version of the Monopoly Dubai Edition game, I have decided to have a go at a full working version. This time I have created a completely vector pdf of the board for a start - so that it can be printed on any size and in good quality. I would appreciate some feedback and creative input for the chance and community cards - something along the lines of 'Pay __ Dhs toll' or "You have won the DSF lottery.. " etc. I am working on the pdf's of the currency and the property cards which means it be ready for 'print and play' very soon(except the dice, ofcourse).
By the way, I am going on a holiday to the real melting(boiling, as some say) pot and will not be blogging regularly(or not blogging at all) this month. So, Merry Christmas and Eid Mubarak in advance and see you next year!

Wokey, ya can't be so generous. The prices have to be unaffordable for it to be Dubai. And ya could replace jail with Itisalot, it's the same anyways. Oh yeah, you could also add 'deportation'. And of course, if you get 'Wasta' you get to eject another player while acquiring his property. And yes, if you are caught driving bad, you will be 'named and shamed'.
Oh for some magical reason, Prometheus' word verif was "XEEUAE"
Oh you must get The Gardens on there, surely even cheaper/more downmarket than Deira!
And "IN JAIL" could read "AL WATHBA".

Prom, In Monopoly you multiply the value by thousands or millions for that matter.
And you other suggestion will be considered in the Expat version. ;-)

The policeman also has a Dubai Police badge if you look closely.
The Gardens was meant to be The Meadows,Springs etc but was too long to be put included. Even then it cant be as expensive as building and maintaining the Palm Deira if at all it is built.

Maybe it could be implemented for one of the cards.
Very nice, but you should change the distinguishing Hasbro colors, pictures, and fonts, and change the name to Dubaiopoly, to avoid copyright infringement.

the cards could have something like wasta to get out of jail or wasta to cancel a fine.
"Pass by the Burj Al Arab, Pay 200 DHS" I love this part! It was impressive that it got most of Dubai's distinctive landmarks and main areas.
One last thing, why is Deira the cheapest? I was expecting Satwa to be the first box.
Monopoly has always been a cool game and there are so many different versions and themes of this game sometimes I wonder if they have diluted it a little too much.
Only Monopoly could have a version for everywhere in the world, if they were to update it how much would it cost you if you landed on a hotel now.
but where are the community chest and chance cards .we need them to play
